Dale E. Bartholomew, PE is currently residing in Washington State. He is a graduate of Walla Walla University (BSCE) and Washington State University (MSSE). Mr. Bartholomew has been President and Senior Railroad Bridge Engineer of KTG Rail/Bridge, Inc. since it's founding in 2001.
Mr. Bartholomew's experience includes 11 years with Parsons Transportation Group (Parsons) where he worked on projects in Charlotte, North Carolina and Salt Lake City, Utah serving as Structures Maneger for the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) South Corridor Light Rail Project and the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) Mid-Jordan Light Rail Extension Project. While with Parsons, Mr. Bartholomew also had involvement as Rail Structures Consultant on the California High Speed Train Project, Houston METRO Projects, Monterey County, California TAMC Projects and several other rail projects.
Prior to working for Parsons, Dale worked for 2-1/2 years as Senior Railroad Bridge Project Manager for TranSystems, Corp. in Omaha, Nebraska where he worked mostly on Union Pacific Railroad Projects, and twelve years as Senior Project Manager Railroad Facilites in the Seattle, Washington office of Sverdrup Civil, Inc. (now Jacobs Civil, Inc.), another major national consulting engineering firm. For the previous 18 years, Dale served the railroad industry in the Bridge Engineering offices of Burlington Northern Railroad (now BNSF) in Saint Paul, Minnesota and Seattle, Washington.
Mr. Bartholomew thus offers over 50 years of intensive railroad bridge engineering experience to assist clients on projects for which they may need a high level of supplemental railroad bridge expertise.
